Hello, I am trying to send a validation letter to an OC, but there is no information for that OC in my credit report. I dont remember ever having the account, and there is no name, address or tel number for this OC other than "Credit First" What can I do next? Thanks -Tirrell Payton
If you see no address, chances are you can call the credit bureau/s referencing that account (if you have a report from them) and ask for the contact info. Maybe you'll get lucky and they won't have any either. In which case you can then ask to dispute it as not yours. Chances are they will have that info. I would call the CRA first in this case.
