No Juniper instant approval

    Just filled out the Juniper credit card application through Gomez.com to get $30.
    I did not get instant approval; I got only the dreaded "We need more time to process
    your account and we'll let you know by mail" response.

    I don't have a single negative. I have a mixture of seven installment and revolving accounts. My revolving utilization is less than 10 percent. I have four accounts paid and closed. My QSpace score is 728. Thought this would be a slam dunk and a good way to take advantage of 0% interest over the next five months.

    Guess I'll know whenever they let me know.

    FYI: I called Juniper to try to get a manual override. The CSR said
    that it would be quicker to wait for the decision to come in the mail
    and that they'd also send an email notification when the decison was made --
    possibly within 24 hours.

    One interesting thing: She said the instant-approval system
    spits out the "We'll let you know by mail" response for two reasons:

    1.) They couldn't get an immediate credit report.
    2.) They got a report and someone had to review
    the application.

    WHEN I WAS DENIED...the person I talked to said "INSTANT" is very RARE!!!

    Perfect credit, just too much of it.

    DENIED, EXCESSIVE CREDIT LINES.

    What is the reason a person would get another credit card??? So they can get a lower rate, and give the new credit card company $$$.

    You may want to log-in and check to see if you're approved. If you are, you should see an arrow on the left hand side that list credit card. I would log-in 24hrs later. I was fortunate to get instant approval of $15,000.
