I have received two collection letters from Associated Recovery Systems. Neither included the mini miranda. Should I even bother to have them validate? If they take me to court is this enough to get their case thrown out?
They only have to put full mini miranda on the first letter to you. After that first one, the law requires that they put of something along the lines of - we are a debt collector and any info. obtained will be used for that purpose. Go ahead and send them a validation letter since you don't recall if they have sent anything previously.
