Well, I had hopes at least.

I just got back from my realtor. WE talked about my situation. They pulled experian CR. My score when I pull MY experian online is 579. Well, their experian says 518. Needless to say, they told me to fix some of the stuff. I have a judgement that I have to pay first. No biggy, I can do that.

Then get this, there were few items on their experian report that didn't even show up on my experian report! WTF?

They gave me a copy of the report. I explained it to them that I am disputing the info on my report but it takes time =( The said that they could do the dispute and it takes about 1 week to get all this fixed. It has to do something with the Mortgage Credit. Load officer said that when I dispute my credit as I am right now, I do it on National Level. I guess they have different stuff on theirs. I tell you thought, some of those things listed were off the wall!!!! Credit card companies without address, no balance no nothing, listed as BAD.

They said it would be 59 bucks to get this fixed and I guess they do it very hard. They verify EVERYTHING, SS number, names, addresses.

Then, since I didn't have any credit for past two years and all the bad accounts are like 6 years old, they said I would have to provide them with past 12 months of my until bills, phone bill, anything that shows I paid something including my insurance for a car and those kinds of things.

I was stunned thought to see my score at 518 on their Experian when I pull my report from experian website and it shows as 579.

Oh well, I guess I have to keep disputing. I wonder if I should pay them 59 bucks and have them do it. What do you guys think?

geez... this is a lot of new info..

FCRA says they have to provide you with everything they have on file for you. Apparantly they don't :(

dispute: maybe this has something to do with credit rescoring? not sure how it works, but apparantly some co's can do this...

If I'm correct, it will be $59 per item. It's called rapid rescoring and it does apparently work.

Do you know if this works on items that were verified twice by a CRA but deleted on the other two?

Where can one do or start a rapid rescoring process?

    Two Things:

There was a thread a while back posted by someone who had the same problem with hidden info appearing on the lender's credit report. They had found a good firm and were filing a class action lawsuit. You may want to do a search?

RE your score. Are you sure that the higher score you received was your actual FICO score and not a FAKO score? Read the small print carefully. The FAKO score is a worthless piece of &#$%* and the CRA's should be dragged out in the street and shot for selling it. Nobody ever sees it except consumers and it seems to almost always be higher then their real FICO score. Take a look at my FICO vs. FAKO scores:

How much of a loan were you going for? I think I remember that old credit info has no time limit for mortgages over a certain amount. This means old derog info that you've ever had CAN and will come back to haunt you when buying a house over a certain amount of money. Anyone out there know how much the mortgage has to be to fall into this rule?

well.. she said that it would be just flat fee of 59 bucks and what they do is call each and every negative creditor and check the info. I asked how long does it take and she said: Couple days . I was kind of shocked, considering that it takes me 30 days to way for each wave of letters.

The score I receive is from experian website. I have that credit watch deal so I guess its FICO score then. It sucks...

I am trying to get a loan for 100K.

What it comes down to is that I don't have any credit cards, so I don't have any credit for past 24 months. What I was told to do is to get my utils statements, rent statements, car insurance statement, besically anything that would show that I pay something month to month. No problem with that at all, I can get those things. None of the creditor have been updating my CR for like 4 years! It's like I dropped off my planet earth!! It's crazy! Even the mortgage person said that this is nuts...Nothing made sense on my CR.. it's just one big mess...=(

I am very sad since the place I wanted was kind of a "dream" place. And it was nice too =( oh well.. I should of start this wayyy earlier

One thing I have to take care of is the judgement for 1900. I will pay that and I was told to just bring the court paper in and that would be all set.

BTW. They pulled my credit report. It costed me 2 points.

Do the loan savers, especially if it's 59.00 flat.

ok then, I will do that....

I have one question thought....do you know once they do that does it change later? Meaning, I have to pay that 1900 judgement and I was wondering if when they let say delete all the stuff, does it mean I am off the hook with the verifications? Is just just like i would dispute but only faster?

I have to pay that judgement first, but I just want to make sure that if I pay the 59 and they fix my report it will be for good and not only for the duration of me getting a loan.

    another question..

I jusrt send out desputes to experian for the items they "verified"... I just got the green slip today that they picked my letter up. Should I wait for the results before I do the 59 bucks deal??? I think I should.. what do you guys think?

When I recieved my mortgage last year they did not do a rapid resore, but they did something, I had a merged report. They got the report unmerged but told me it was only temporary, that I would have to go through the dispute process myself for it to be permanent. Low and behold, 30 days later, EVERYTHING was back on my report.
