I have 2 small medical collections on ALL three CRA'S. All my reports give the phone number and address of the CA. However, there is no name listed on my reports for the CA ? Wouldn't this be a violation and illegal ? What should I do regarding this ? Is there a certain letter I should send to the CRA'S ? Thanks
1) If you have the phone number and address, you can find the name of the CA. (WAS it from a "REAL" CREDIT REPORT, or an "ONLINE" CREDIT REPORT) 2) Yes, it should be a violation, but it is an up-hill battle when suing them. 3) Make one. Hey, I got my credit report, and noticed some incomplete, inaccurate and unverifiable information, however when I went to try to contact the people who are allegedly telling you to report it, there name was missing from my report. You are required to provide complete contact information, and you can't send a letter containing important financial information to an unknown person at such and such address, because if the company is no longer at that address, my information would be now available to anyone who would want to steal my identity. Thank you.
I have memberships with Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. I don't like surprises when it comes to my credit. I can pull up a new report every day if needed at no additional charge. Thanks for providing the above information.
The online reports may not show the information (even when from the CRA themselves) the same way that it would appear on the actual CRA reports. Even the CRAs own online reports "merge" data together, and may not parse it 100% accurately leaving some information off of the report, even though its a part of the actual CRA report. If you need help looking up the name to go with the phone number or address, I can look it up for you, just pm me...
