Just curious. Assume you do not have a credit history, you apply for credit and are approved, and the creditor starts reporting to the CRA's. At what point is a file created for you at the CRA's? Would this be enough to do it? Or is there something more?

I think the file is created right away and the account is reported as "too new to rate" and this later changes to "pays as agreed" once payments are made on time.
