a while back ( about 3 weeks) I posted a message about receiving at a former place of employment a demand for payment of a Fingerhut account from OSI/gulf States. After researching the board and past messages, I sent them via CMRRR (they're here in Phoenix where I am) a validation letter - the 2 pager with all the information to fill out. Well, it's been almost 3 weeks and I have not received either the green card showing they picked it up nor any kind of response. Should I go ahead and send the follow up letter or just let sleeping dogs lie? To the best of my understanding they have not put anything on my bureaus. Lizardking, roni, et. al - please let me know what your advice is. I don't want to open a can of worms but I also don't want this on my bureau. Thanks in advance for your response!
