I sent a demand and settlement letter to Trans Union thru planetfeedback on Saturday. I sent a copy certified mail r/r. After not receiving a response by yesterday, I resent the letter by email, more strongly worded. As of now, I have yet to even receive an acknowledgment that they received my letters. I told them I was willing to discuss a solution prior to filing a lawsuit, but it seems they are not interested. They will be served soon. No more games.
LKH, I sent my demand letters to Tu and Experian. They signed for them on 10 and 13 Aug, respectively. Haven't heard anything back from them yet. I gave them 10 days in my letter from date of their receipt. If I don't hear from them, I'll be at the court filing on the 24th. My demand letter was a demand for payment as required by the court prior to filing, so I'm not sure that I'll hear much back. The offer of settlement letter will go out the day I file my complaint. I also sent out my demand letter today for Equifax. They gave NO response to my request for verification process information, but rather re-investigated it. It's been 3 weeks, and the tradeline was verified today I found out via online credit watch notification. I'm through messing with them as well. I'll keep you informed. Dan
