Hello all! I disputed some items with all three bureaus online on the same day. The 30 days is well past. I have received an updated report from Equifax, and online results from Experian, but nothing from TransUnion. Does anyone know what I should do to get my info from TU? Thanks! Maureen
I'm curious about that myself. I disputed two items on TU on 8/15. I took a peek last night and neither one of them shows in dispute. Are they alive over there? When I call to complain on the 16th, are they going to claim that I never disputed the items?
I called TU today, because I disputed items and faxed supporting documentation to them. I checked my report before calling and the items were on my report. When I called, the CSR told me that did not see the items I was referring to on my report. My question is, IF I am paying $12.95 to see a current report, why is that I see old information and not the new report that the reps see?!?
Did you try calling them? I have found most TU reps to be very friendly and even helpful. I have had no problems with making disputes online with TU, save one instance. TU somehow managed to lose my dispute. Fortunately, after faxing the confirmation page, several times, I was able to get them to delete the item outright. I would always follow up any online dispute with a phone call to confirm, and possibly a letter restating your dispute. Of course, if you do send a letter, be very specific that you are NOT providing additional information.
I have also disputed online with TU, 30 days as os today and still nothing! I am going to call them in 5 days.
