in a routine check on my credit i found a collection entry on my tu report so i disputed the account but it came back verified so i went ahead and sent a validation letter to the collection agency waited more than 30 days no response so i sent the esstopel letter gave them 15 days no response after 17 days the entry was placed on the same month's i checked my report they never sent me any thing in regard.

what is my next thing to do since its not my account
and i need it off fast because i;m buying a house.
any way it was for a gas bill from 1999 when i called the gas company they said i owed this on a business address and i told them that i have never worked there or lived there, collection reported the account that it was placed with them on 2-2003 and reported on 3-2003

when i printed second month report after i disputed the account with tu report says was placed on 2-2003 and reported on 5-2003

Sue the CA for re-aging the account FCRA) and taking collection action (re-posting your trade line with a Validation request outstanding and unreplied to) (FDCPA). Sue tof $1000.00 for each violation.

Once you have thir attention, you can agree to merge the two violations to a singel $1000 payment to you PLUS deletion of the trade line. If not, "see ya in Court".

I'm sorry i meant that it has been 17 days now so they are (2) days behind the 15 days that i gave them to comply and no answer yet
