No response from CA I sent a dispute to a collection Company on the 28th of October, I got my green card back dated the 12th of November showing that it was forwarded to another one of their offices. I have not received a response from them. With that letter I sent the "contact me only by mail" thingamajigy. On the 17th of November the collector called and asked if I would settle at 60 percent of the original debt. I have a feeling this is because they cannot get the info to me that I requested. I declined and told him that I have no idea what this debt is even from and we will talk when he sends proof it is mine. I am aware that he violated my rights by contacting me. Other then sending the 30 days later letter, what do you all think my next step should be?
Re: No response from CA Your next step is to send the estoppel. Do a search it is all over this board.
