I sent letters (a la Christi) on 3/15/02 to 7 companies showing inquiries on equifax...and have only 2 have responded...AMEX told me that they have record online that I applied (BS) and to dispute with CRA (EQUISUX which does not remove inquiries), and one from The Lending Tree stating that i need to report "fraudulent activity" to CRA.... The other 5 companies have not responded.....how do I pursue this now?
I have the same question. I sent the $1000 or delete letter, and I have not heard anything back. I sent this letter to two companies. Neither has responded. Their time is almost up. Now what do I do?
Yes, i sent that letter! I will send it again, revised, and again demand that they pay in delete, or I will see them in court.
