I just checked ce and one my accounts says under status"no status" wth is this!! either it is there or not. this is for a collection account that they say is verfied as 1/02. i have never run accross this.... what do i do??
Experian did this to one of my accounts. I had a billing dispute. The cc overcharged interest. That was back in July. The account $$ amts do count against the Empirica score with a no status and this has held down my score, however the cl doesn't get added to your ratios. I know this because it is paid off but I do charge on it occassionally to keep it active. Everytime I do my score takes a hit. I have disputed it at least 4 or 5 times since July and it comes back verified. Yesterday I called cc company and they have no record of EX contacting them. EX says they did and gave me a name and address. I am fairly certain it's a bogus name or one from a dispute I had initiated with the same company involving the balance amount rather than for specifically the No Status indicator. In any event, after almost 6 mos they promised to revise it to OPEN/Never Late. Today it is still showing no status.
this is for an account that i have requested validation for. they sent me a partial validation but they have no real 'proof" that i received it. i have sent them an estoppel letter. they did insert on my cr that "account was in dispute" wth isn't it just deleted??? please someone tell me what to do.....
