What does no status mean on your credit report. Hubby has two acct. that I have tried to validate with the CA and they are now being listed on his experian acct and no status....does that still factor in his score ?

    Thanks

yes it raises the score but is still considered a negative. I have two like this. its very aggrivating cause its hard as hell to get these deleted cause EXP states that isn't affecting your score, I said IF these accounts haven't been validated, then delete them. I have an account 90 days + STILL with no status, TU and EFX deleted it. EXP continues to verify it.

I had my Household Bank Visa stolen out of my wallet at 24hr fitness. While investigating the matter my status was changed to NO STATUS. Once the investigation was complete my ststus changed to CREDIT CARD LOST OR STOLEN/NEVER LATE. It took approximately three months before the change in status took place.

Yeah I got the answer from Michelle from Experian Special Services and they said, The companies could verify the debt, but they didn't want to have it deleted. Can you believe that?

If they won't Validate they must delete.
