I sent the nutcase letter to great lakes (showing on my report as a paid collection). I sent it with 2 forms of ID, I signed it.. etc basically as described in the nutcase letter except I didn't notorize it. It is now over 30 days, and I haven't heard a word from them, and the notation is still on my credit report. The return receipt says it was received on the 17th of July. The signature on there was completely unreadable and the person didn't bother to print out his/her name.... so I have no idea who signed for it. So I'm wondering what to do next. Please advise. Thanks a lot you guys!
OH I hope someone answers.. I might be in the same boat in 12 days.. on the mean time I will do a search to see If I can find the answer on my own.... so consider this a bump I guess. LOL
Try the next letter in the nutcase series. I believe there are 3 of them, but you can always create a new one to add to the family!
Thing is, since I don't know who signed for it, I wonder if that makes me "less powerful". But I guess the fact that they ignored my request puts me in a good position to sue?
