NO WAY!! formerly titled HOLY CRAP

I was going to call this thread "holy crap" but KHM just had the same thread so I had to do something different this early in the morning. Didn't want to be a copy cat! lol

Anyway, I sent out a new round of letters. One I actually got validation back on so I have to think of what to do. The other one never responded.

I get on and do my usual round of checking equifax and experian. No change on EX but low and behold what do I find on EQ?

The other CA deleted and the score went from 616, which 2 days prior was 564, to 653!!!

Of course the first words I uttered were "HOLY CRAP"!!!!!


I know that our scores would be in the 100s (i know it doesn't go that low but if they did...) if this board were not in existence. From day one the veterans of this board have helped me go from "clueless" to "i think I know what i'm doing" which has resulted in the most miraculous change in the reports. I mean that i officially started at the end of Jan, have had some hardships, lost focus, made a comeback, and now here I am.

This is such a wonderful place along with the people. Of course I give eternal thanks to all who have ever answered my questions!!! You know who you are, take a bow!!!!

The battle is not over, but I am almost there. I now enter into the "fine tuning" stage.

I know this is long but I wanted, once again, to say thanks.

Yes, it feels really good! Of course I want to get some of those nice credit card accounts but I will wait. I need to get some of those inquiries off of the TU report first and get all of my scores up there.

I think that most probably do. When I have gotten internet car loans like from peoplefirst.com etc, they pull EX. Plus, it's easy to dispute things and to monitor your credit.
