On August 20th or so, I applied for a Providian card, an Associates Visa and a Macy's card. I was denied outright for all three. I called Macy's and they told me I was denied due to a delinquent account in their system. The rep said a letter was sent out on the 20th but I haven't gotten it yet. Providian also said they were sending a letter but that never got here either. A few days ago I got an Associates card in the mail. I guess a denial isn't really a denial until you get the letter. Where the heck are the letters from Macy's and Providian? I hate this!
Really, you're waiting for letters...or cards. Your experience with Associates proves this is possible.
