I got turned down by Citi for the Silver...now what? I guess I should call and get their reasons...has anyone had any luck asking for a review over the phone? Suggestions?

I would go for it, but I swore "no new inquiries" for 1 yr(eff 12/31/01).

I tried the BDD...a couple days apart though...and my second was automaticly cancelled because of a pending application..they said it did not put a hard inq on my report...the system ignored it...I tried with the citiAA cards....

I wonder if this is a legitimate "good score BDD variation"? Apply for Plat first. If approved apply for Plat #2.

Does Citi gives higher limits to Plat cards than Gold?

Has anybody ever applied for 2 Plats immediately one after the other? Or Gold first then Plat? How many INQs?

Out of complete stupidity (I should get my scores up higher first) I tried it. Sad to say but for me it put two hard inquiries on and both gave me the "we'll let you know" message.

    They pulled TU...

Oh, I live in Missouri, and I applied for the gold, then silver, about 15-20 seconds apart.
