    Hi,

I have several Non PP Inqs on my various reports, some are hard, most are soft.

My question is this.... what kind of letter can I write, to get the companies to ADMIT that they messed up, and didn't really have a reason to pull my credit file.

I don't want to scare them, or delete, I want the $1000. And I want to get evidence of their admission of the mistake in my hot little hands.

    That the right procedure?

MY EQ report has over 10 INQs that I did not request or permit.

But If I send out the letters I've seen, with legal code in them, won't the agencies just delete?
I'd rather get paid too !

If you have copies of all the old reports listing the inquiries you have your proof--whether they deleted or not :)

So do I just write them asking for a check? Or simply file in Small claims court?

    One of mine:

    09/02/2002 PRM-Verizon Long Distance

They don't offer service in this area so they obviously had no business pulling.

$1000 would come in handy right now!

Catnap, thats a PRM, they didn't pull your credit report. Just header info like name and address - no SS#. Sorry.

I would try writing them first. There are several no PP letters you can search for on this site, and use as a template.
