Greetings: Newbie here. I have an old wireless bill that has been referred to a CA. I can pay it without any problem, but I'm wondering if this gets me anywhere on my report. I settled another account that was referred to a CA, but it still is listed as a key derogatory on my report. Questions: 1. How should I handle the collection on the old wireless bill to ensure that it is removed from my credit report? 2. How do I get the key derogatory removed from my report for the other collection that I have paid? Thanks!
Fixing your credit No. The older the listing the less impact it has on your credit score. Pay it and that will most likely show up as recent collection activity and hurt more than help. One very good method is to use the WESTCAP method which you can find by searching for it on this board. The thread is quite old but the method is very effective. It was developed by one Robert Paisola of Western Capital Management and posted here by him. Paisola is a debt collector among many other things including the proveable fact that he is a convicted sex offender with a very long criminal record at both the Utah State Level and the Federal Level. He is also a repeat parole violator and all of his records are available on the internet. His criminal record also includes insurance fraud. Recently he started calling himself MONEYTRAINER and put up quite a few websites and a couple of blogs and has tried to palm himself off as a consumer advocate as well. He made tape recordings of telephone conversations he supposedly made while talking to various collection agencies such as NCO whom he claimed has a call center in Barbados. However, if you call the number he gives it leads to nothing of the kind. His parole included the requirement that he not be around children but photos on his web page show him with groups of children of young ages. Those may have been taken after his release from parole last year however. Most if not all of what he has on his blogs and web pages are nothing but out and out lies and misleading information. Most of his web pages are shut down now as a result of a huge lawsuit lodged against him for copying material from the web site of another company and putting it on his web page claiming it to be his own. He claims to have offices in Switzerland or Denmark as well and that is apparently another outright fabrication. All of what I have posted about Robert Paisola is easily provable by searching for his name on the internet. There are far too many reports by Utah, Kansas and Federal criminal reports and court hearing transcripts as well as some private investigators from both here in the U.S. and Canada and other people for anyone to say it isn't true. Be that as it may, his westcap method posted here a few years back does work and works very well.
I dont know about all that you said about robert paisola is true but i visited his web site at www.robert paisola.com The company called western management sounds pretty convincing.The phone calls i listened to sound real to me.His web site is alive and running.
