I remember reading a post recently that stated people were getting, on average, half of negative accounts removed after the first "round" of disputes. Not so for me, I disputed 10 negatives (over all three CRA's, disputed with the CO's simultaneously) and had only one removed. Most of the rest were verified, and 3 disputes to TU were lost somehow, never investigated. I sent a strong follow-up letter to that one, since I can prove that at least one account is a duplicate with a nonsense 13 digit account number, and the others have conflicting info. How does a CO "verify" info to each CRA for an account that has conflicting info on each report? It makes no sense. All accounts were at least 2 years old, paid collections or similar.

I'm still hopefull, and probably even more determined. I hope that other people in my situation feel the same, but it sure was disappointing getting those result letters with verified/updated status on all my disputes.

So now I've sent letters to the CO's (there are no CA accounts on my reports), since I have them on violations for verifying incorrect data without responding to my dispute and a lack of "in dispute" notation.

Anyone in my shoes? I'd like to hear someone getting results later on after a dismal initial response like mine...

I had "issues" with TU on my first round too, I have had success with the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I have narrowed my attack to just one or two per CRA. but I don't have many to start with and I am not in a hurry.

one point in case, I disputed one account three times before the 1x 30 days late neg came it came off.

don't get down, it took you a while to mess up your credit it could take a little while to clean it up, that's how I look at it. Good luck

Don't give up. I disputed 15 items with EXP and got 2 deletions. I disputed 4 with EQ and got 2 deletions.

There is a bit of luck to this. One thing I did was when I got a deletion from one CRA I then disputed that same account with a new CRA. It worked so far on 2 accounts.

    Hang in there.
