I have a line of credit that I defaulted on. I was going to go to court for arbitration, I filed my initial paperwork and then was asked to file anything else that I might need to (which I thought was nothing, the loan was mine, the opposing party proved that with their paperwork they filed). At any rate since I didn't file any additonal paperwork I received a notice that there will be no arbitration hearing and the plaintiff won. Today I get in the mail a "notice to file an arbitration award" stating "The court has been advised that an arbitration hearing was to be held on 6/15/07, but no award of final disposition has been filed" "The arbitrator is advised to file an award or final disposition or the matter will be referred to the assigned judge for appropriate action". Why is it that the court calendar was cleared and the plaintiff won their plea, but yet I get this in the mail? Is this a mistake on the arbitrators fault (this is the 2nd screw up from him)? Do I have any wiggle room here?
