now what? i sent a Goodwill via PFB

    and i got an email from them today saying:

    We have very carefully reviewed the manner of payment we are currently
    reporting to the three consumer reporting agencies and have determined that
    the manner of payment being reported is correct. To change this rating as
    you are requesting would violate our agreement with consumer reporting
    agencies and thus compromise the accuracy of the Belk Trade Line.

    We regret that we were unable to respond more favorably.


    It is obviously with Belks. he was nice enough to copy several people on his email. i have a feeling that the credit dept. for belks isn't very big, so i am not sure about "hoping that it will land on someone else's desk". oh, and he is the director of credit services?!?! go figure. should i try again through the mail? should i go goodwill again or nutcase? this is a paid account with several 30 and 60 day lates. the lates are over 2 years old. the account is closed.
