I've been reading on and off the past two months and I have sent some of the sample dispute letters to the CRA's. I have four Paid charge-offs from febuary this year. The crediters are Aspire Visa, House Hold Bank, Ultramar Shamrock, and Texaco/citi. I feel that since the disputes have not worked going to the CRA's I should send Nutcase letters to the Crediters. Should I send the original nutcase or one that has been modified. Does anyone have experience/ information to give me with any of these creditors.

I also have an account with MBNA that went around 90 to 120 days late late last year. Since January this year I've Paid 75% of the balance off and always on time. Should I send a Goodwill Letter or something different (modified). Does anyone have experience/information to give me with them.

Do I send the letters to the addresses on my credit reports or (ATTN) them to a specific department.

Any information will be GREATLY appreciated. I'd also like to say I really love the site and I' like to thank everyone for taking the time to share their wonderful wealth of information.

Hi, FICO750! There really aren't correct answers to your great questions, but I'll fathom a few opinions regardless.

    1) Stick with the original Nutcase series. Read the FAQ thread atop this board for relevant links, testimonials, rationale, etc.

    2) For MBNA, use the original Goodwill letter referenced in the FAQ as well.

    3) Use this address for Goodwill and Nutcase letters intended for MBNA:
    MBNA America
    1100 N. King St.
    Wilmington, DE 19884

    Hope this helps you!
