First Id like to apologize for the other 3 posts on here that were blank.

What cirumstances are best to use the Nutcase letter? And can anyone let me know if you have used it, and what the outcome was. I have a derogagtory listing on TU and EX. sent for validation twice from the collection agency, and Ive also disputed with both CRA's with no luck at all. Was wondering if this would be a good area to use it.

The Nutcase series of letters was designed for fully-paid accounts with really bad tradelines, although I have seen some people successfully employ the tactic with chargeoffs. Some people classify this as a type of "OC validation" tactic (i.e., validation for original creditors) as opposed to the usual legally stipulated validation for third-party collectors which is memorialized within the FDCPA. That said, I've only ever recommended the Nutcase series for fully paid tradelines. The Creditnet FAQ (courtesy of Butch's generosity) has a section which includes links to further explanation and testimonials here:

You'll see more recent applications by using the Creditnet search function.

    Hope this helps somehow.

Thanks for the link and response Doc. This account isn't mine, thats why they can't validate it. I needed a strongly worded letter and it seemed the Nutcase fit the bill. Anyway thanks again.
