Just want to make sure I'm on the right track. This question is about a PAID ACCOUNT with Providian, that is showing up on my reports as PAID CHARGE-OFF.

On Jan 7th I sent PROVIDIAN FINANCIAL a demand for validation letter. It's been 30 days... no reply. Ok, time for letter number 2, what should it be another validation, or an estoppel letter?

And: Does anyone have a good fax number for Providian?

JUST MY OPINION, I would follow with estoppel and advised about their first violation... also check you CR and see ithey in facg reported it as"a dispute account by consumer"... if they have not then that's 2 violations.....
