Spouse and I might have an opportunity to relocate to Vancouver - he's in an "in-demand" high-tech field and would probably meet the entrance requirements. I have terrible credit and it's getting worse by the day due to a recent foreclosure and legal action by the HELOC lender, which didn't see a dime from the foreclosure and wants me to cough up $25K. If we left the country would I be able to establish credit in Canada? Would that stop the clock on the US SOL? I'm pretty much judgement proof but can't declare BK 7 because spouse makes money (even though all my debts are premarital). I don't have any judgements yet but am expecting the worst from the HELOC lender. Thanks! Poochie PG score = 553
