OC Charge Off

I have an OC charge off on all 3 CRA reports that I disputed with all 3 CRAs. I also sent a verification letter to the OC citing the FCRA.

After 34 days here are the results:
    *CRA 1 verified it
*CRA 2 had two trade lines for this account with two different account numbers. 1 TL was deleted and 1 remains.
*CRA 3 has not responded yet. It has been 34 days since the green card was signed.
    *OC hasn't responed to verification

    Few questions.
    1. How should I proceed with OC?
    2. How should I proceed with CRA 1?
    3. How should I proceed with CRA 2?
    4. When should I go after CRA 3 and in what manner?

    BUMP. More info.

CRA 3 responded today. It remains. However, the account number for this trade line (it is a credit card number) is different on all three CRA reports. This is innaccurate info being reported by the OC and the OC verifies it with all 3 CRAs.

Can someone please give me some guidance on formulating my next move?

    Thanks,
    Delgato

It was an accident. The server was extremely unresponsive and when I hit the reload button, the http POST that is encoded within the page is resent. It was an accident. Relax.

i'm having a similar problem. I have an OC who ignores me, and CRAs who claim to 'verify' and it 'remains'.

remember, when these frustrating things happen, its a GOOD thing. it'd be so nice if we could just dispute, and have things disappear, but thats just not the way it goes, unfortunately.

I think you'll have to just try again w the OC (i've been mailing every 30 days since august '03--i'm not really in any hurry, lol) mostly because if it comes right down to it, you can tell the judge, "look, i tried and tried, and they ignored me."

also, in each letter, you can send a copy of 'prior, ignored correspondence' (i put that in red, all caps, bold letters at the top of my copies, lol) and make each letter sound more firm.

as far as the CRAs....after the second ignored letter to the OC, send the CRA letters telling them how your ignored disputes obviously mean the debt is not verifiable. send copies of green cards, & ignored dispute letters. (i did all this, and it STILL didnt work. but the point is, now I can say 'look judge, i did this, and this, and this, and they ignored me.)
then, send a procedural request to the CRAs, so they can send you their lame 'here's what we do' form letter. Then THATS more ammunition in court.

i'm not saying you have to go to court. Its just that when you send your ITS, you can say 'look at what all i've done to get this corrected, and look at how you ignored me and violated my rights, and look at these highlighted portions of the FCRA that you violated, and here is a list of damages i now have because of it, and even tho I hate to do it, I have no choice now but to sue you, and by my calculations, $XXXX.XX is how much I can sue for."

sucks, but all that takes time.

Thanks for the post. The last cra did respond this week and verified. Two CRAs verified the wrong account number.

I am going have to read the FCRA some more about what recouse I have for non responding OCs.
