FICO ranges for 0 or low balance? Pooky, Right now I have 8 cards. I am on my way down to four where I will stay for a while. I no longer care to have either a large number of cards or a huge amount of available credit. My available credit at one point was about $175,000. As I said, I am on my way to only $35,000. I don't even need that much but I will deal with that later. On the average month I put about $4,000 thru two cards (Amex charge and Citi MasterCard). They are paid in full at month end. So, depending on timing - my utilization right now is about 3%. Regards, Ray
FICO ranges for 0 or low balance? I have 2 cards with $7500 in limits and $2500 in balances. In 3 weeks I will pay off another $1200 on my balances. trying to get it to almost $0 in a few months. I'll probably answer the Amex Gold pre-approval I was sent and get another card in a few weeks. I don't see myself as needing more than $20,000 in limits for the next few years if ever. Unless I strike it very rich and will have money to spend.

FICO ranges for 0 or low balance? Once the BT is complete a BT from BMW Card to BOFA, I'm shredding the card. BMW doesn't offer any special rates or BT incentives. Any purchases over $2500 requires prior authorization or you have to split the purchase up. Sorry BMW USA. Your credit card sucks. CardKid
