You know I just started this quest for good credit, well have sitting here reading I think every post, and with credit report in hand I called EX and they deleted 8 hard inquiries. Hooray! How many points or 1/2 points do you think I will get for these, anyone know out there? I also tried to dispute and old BK 13 that was dismissed. I kinda messed that up, I tried to have it deleted because it's inaccurate shows 0 - EX says it shows O because it was dismissed and it will be gone anyway next year, I said I want it deleted today, and she just laughed *&^%$!!
so you just simply called and they were able to delete 8 hard inquiries? did they give you much of a fight ? I had the impresion that getting Inqs removed was like pulling teeth from a shark with tweezers
There was no fight at all - I just called gave the report number. They asked what Items I am disputing or have questions on and I just went down the line. But remember it was pass the 2year mark by 2days (smile)
ooooooh....no wonder they deleted...u can;t be getting folks pressure up with excitement like that with letting them no they were pass the 2 yr mark
Really inquiries that are more than 6 months old don't hurt your score. Past the 2 year mark they were probably laughing at you while you were laughing at them. Up until about 3 months ago I never had any problem getting an inquiry deleted over the phone. About the same time they stopped CE online inquiry disputes is when they stopped disputing inquiries for me. Charlie
