    Group,

I contacted a Consumer Law Attorney about a repo on my credit report and wanted to have it removed. They never sent me the required docs according to California Law.

Well I send them a CMRRR letter requesting copies of my post-repo docs, per counsel's advice.
Got green card back, however nothing in the mail today.

I check PG.com today and see a NEW entry from First Financial Asset for over 11,000.00 in collections. WTF??? I think that this is TRIAD's way of responding to my post repo doc request.

OH, I'm so pissed now, my FAKO and FICO dropped significantly. I've never received notice from OC or the new CA. OH, WHAT TO DO. I emailed my consumer attorney. Hope he has some insight.

    Your thoughts.

    Yeah, same attorney.

He's very direct and told me to STOP writing nasty letters. He said he doesn't want to have client control issues. He also said that he wants my letter to look like I am trying to get something corrected, not to sue from the get go.

So far he's outlined a plan for me, and he plans on suing them, if I do everything in the correct order. He said he sues them, and I'll get 1K, deletion from the account, and that the debt will be forgiven, and he gets his attorney fees from them.

He gave me a order to send my letters, and what kind of language to use.

I've always said keep the letters simple and don't mention the law or sound like you know too much. The letter that floats around here a lot is not the way to go. I think your attorney is spot on.
