As Psychdoc said, I introduce this with my credit is horrible because I was an idiot..... yada yada yada, ok time to get to work.

Here's the deal, BK7 in Nov 2002 discharge in feb 2003. I pulled through privacy guard and my credit score is 620 with them. I've mad no late payments to anything since Nov 2002, but Equifax has me with 3 derogs in the last month. Here they are:

Derogatory Payment Information:: The following negative information has been reported to Equifax regarding your credit accounts.

    CBUSASEARS 03/1996 12/2003 $0 12/2003 Included in BKRPT
    CAP 1 BANK 05/2000 12/2003 $0 12/2003 Included in BKRPT
    PROVIDIAN 05/1999 11/2003 $0 11/2003 Included in BKRPT

As you can see, they all have the dates in November or December of 2003, the BK was actually discharged in Feb.
I've got more work to do then this, but since the experienced minds of the board say 3 is a good round number to dispute at any one time I'll start there. I was thinking of just sending equifax 3 disputes on these accounts. My educated guess through reading is to dispute them as not mine the first time. Even though, I admitted they are mine by including them in BK. I guess I'm disputing them as not mine, because they have inaccurate info, so the reported facts are not mine.... Am I thinking correctly here? Are the 3 disputes the right place to start?

Well, after several more hours of reading tonight. I'm convinced that the way to go is to dispute them as not mine. I've read others saying that the date listed must be at or before the date of the discharge. These are showing dates of 10 months past the discharge, so they're 'not mine.' I will fire off the first 3 disputes on Monday. Anyone disagree with my plan?

i think "not yours" is probably the best way to go.

Got news back today. They verified the Capital one, which really isn't mine. They deleted the Sears account. They verified an account I didn't even ask for them to. They didn't say a word on the Providian account.

What should I do with that?
