A collection agency - Williams & FUDGE - just placed an entry on my Equifax report. Only problem is that this 'alleged' debt is from 1993 - however, they put the date of last activity at 03/01. These people are really getting on my nerves.

If you have proof that the DOLA was sometime in 1993, send a copy of it to them with a letter asking them if they'd like to get sued for re-aging a debt that is past SOL and reporting period.

Well - actually it isnt past the SOL. It's for damn library books at a university. There is no SOL on those in my state....

But, I do have a recording of these morons calling me last December. The lady was very nice and professional, even called me an ******* and threatened to sue me and have me served at work. Me thinks its time to bust their butts on this debt.

Okay, even if it's not past SOL. Re-aging a debt is still a violation.

Verily, It is past time for these cretins to suffer the wrath of BAlZebub. Methinks thou should call the supervisor at the CA, play the recording for him, and tell him that: when you check your CR in 72 hours, if you even smell something that resembles his CA or this debt on your CR, you'll be suing them for multiple violations.

As my Grandmother used to say: "Payback is a bitch, Revenge is a Mo%$$%er!"
