Wife just called me and told me my TU credit report came in today, and the score was 699 3 weeks ago when I refinanced my car, Equifax had me at 638 CreditExpert has me at 616 Worthknowing has me (Out of 100) at 5!!! - I think that percentile is the "Don't bother wasting the ink filling out a credit app" Today, Eloan (TU) online has me at 674 So 616 + 638 + 674 + 699 / 4 = 656.75 - Is this my real credit score??? And this is while my disputes are completed, what gives??? GT
None of the scores above are true credit scores, excepting the Equifax "ScorePower/MyFico" Beacon score. I think the consumer disclosed scores from TU and Experian mean nothing. And I think that a few others on this board including Marie and myself have shown in as close a score comparison test as possible that even Scorepower's score is not always accurate or what the lender sees. I stopped paying for my scores after I conducted my comparison twice and Scorepower came up short.
Don't worry with the worthknowing. I spoke with one of their reps the other day (I pulled my report and it didn't match the TU one). She said that their score is on the blink and isn't going to be fixed anytime soon as they have a bigger client to satisfay (wonder who?).
