I have a few accounts thet are still showing as open. All are retail accounts like Old Navy, Comp Usa etc. I do not have cards anymore. Our ch7 was discharged in Jan 03 however I just pulled credit and saw these open tl's. Should I call and ask for a replacement card? Or will they run credit and cancel due to the bk and affect my score with a pull? Anyone done this? I currently only have a Sams club credit card that can be used at Wal-mart. I would certainly like another 1 or 2 cards to rebuild credit. Any ideas?"
I would call and ask for a replacement card. Just tell them that your old one is pretty worn out. They might just say "Sure! I'll send one out."
