Hi Everyone! Well, one good piece of news today. It appears that the Providian charge-off I had on my reports is gone from all three (woohoo! Thanks for ALL the great advice on this board). One thing I noticed, though...I called Equifax earlier this week, and told them that the previous address they show on file for me is incorrect. I gave them my current address, and stated I'd been here for over 6 years. That night, the old address was removed. Two days later, though, it's back on! What gives? Is there any way to get the CRA's to NOT re-insert old addresses (especially when they're NOT correct?) Thanks in advance!
