I'm in the process of starting to clean up my girlfriend's credit record. I think my first step should be to attempt to remove old addresses in order to make the validation process more difficult for CAs. Would you agree with this thought process and are CRAs required to delete any address that is not correct (i.e. current)? Thanks for any help provided.

I think correct and current are different concepts. As far as I know, you need to claim you never lived there to get an address removed.

    OBSOLETE might work...

When you have not lived there for 10+ YEARS...

And you really don't need more than a CURRENT ADDRESS AND ONE PREVIOUS ADDRESS

MOST applications say "PREVIOUS ADDRESS" ONLY if you have moved in less than 2 years...
