I disputed a charged off account with CRA twice and both times it was verified. I then sent OC a validation letter and got respond that the account was sold to CA. I called CA request debt validation, but CA told me that they could not do that??? I did not get a chance to ask why. Anyway, it was a 6 years old charged off.
    My questions are:

    1. Since OC sold the account, they might not be able to validate the debt, then OC must remove the TL in my CR?

    2. What possible reasons CA said they can't validate the debt?

    Thanks!

1*You start with the CA not the CRA or OC.
2*To trick you into paying by giving up your rights.
3*Should have started with the CA by sending them the validation letter mailed CRRR .
4*validation letter goes to CA not OC
5*You never talk to CAs on the phone. They will jerk you around every time ! They were snowballing you.
6*Then you didn't have to listen to their lie did you?
7*Sol is probably up on this and you don't have to pay it.
