Sooooo, if you were turned down due to an 'extended report', would the bureaus be required to send you a copy of this 'extended report'? I have never recieved anything of the such? Would that not be violating FCRA.
I would say yes, they'd have to send it. It also answers Hawg's question. DaveLv, I agree with you. I think it would be very rare for the bureaus to clutter their hard drives with obsolete information. I wonder if the creditor could get it if they explicitly asked for it. Gib

Hawg, why worry about something that probably will never be an issue? Even though technically correct, I've never seen anyone post on being denied credit or a mortgage for something older than 7 years. For one thing, most lenders are really only concerned where a judgement may be obtained and a lien being placed on the property. Gib
