I have a collection from old apartment lease in GA. lease contract ended 10/01. The "date assigned" on the report is in 2004 and the date reported is in 2008. Im trying to get it off my credit report. Ive gone through validation in the past with the creditor and dispute through the CA. The last update is 09. Any thoughts on what i can do to get it off the report? If going by contract date, the thing is 7+ years old.
