I was going through my credit report and came across 3 old accounts that are still open (and in good standing), but I have forgotten all about them. Considering my credit is totaly F'ed up and I wouldn't be approved for a new one , these cards would be really helpfull right now. How do I go about getting a new card from them? Will they just issue it, or will I have to reapply considering they are old accounts that I haven't used in a while (2-5 years).
I would just call and ask them to send you new cards. If they are really still open as opposed to just being reported that way, there will be no problem.
