   About 5 years ago I overdrew my account, and never resolved it. I was reported to ChexSystems, who attempted to collect. Is it better at this point to just pay ChexSystems, or would the actual bank prefer that I repay them directly?

   The best deal would be to pay the bank with the provision that they notify chex systems to remove your entry
