that's actually a great idea. That way your payments are always on time. Make sure you don't have to make the first payment or 2 with a check. sometimes it takes a bit to set it up (although less time if the loan and checking account are at the same place). As for the $2, I guess I'm a tightwad... $2 or so is $2 more in my pocket
