So the house that will moved into was new and our subdivision is still being built... well last week my girlfriend was home and she saw some builders carrying buckets of water away from our house, apparently they were using our tap, well, she called the builder and they said that they shouldnt do that blah blah, and it will stop... well today I look out my front window and I see this power cord going across my front yard... I open the front door and see it is plugged into our outlet... so I yell at the guy out there... 'why is this plugged in?' ... 'it is keeping our iron hot'... 'are you going to pay my electric bill?' ... 'no.. I can take it out if you like'.. I then yanked the cord out and threw it in their general direction and went inside, turns out it was the gas company... Is this normal? Im sorry, but I dont supply water and electric for the local builders.. am I out of line? I was pissed!! haha lately, I havent put up with any crap, ever since I found this board really... being an ass seems to work with these idiot credit card companies, builders, UHAUL .. UGHH, parking lot companies (disputed a ticket) etc.. I have been fighting everything lately.
On the note of subdivisons, builders, and surprises of the day, have I got one for you. I woke up today, looked outside, everything normal. Gardeners come along and take care of the neighborhood lawns, etc. Well, apparently at some point when the gardeners were making all their noise with the mowers, leaf blowers, edgers, and whatever else they use, the pavement company (if thats what you call them) came around and re-sealed my road. Yes you heard it correctly. My entire road was re-sealed. Granted, it looks real nice now, having a new top on the road, HOWEVER, my car was essentially held prisoner in my garage the whole day. I couldn't leave! It sure would have been nice if someone told me they were going to do this so I could have parked on a different block.
Guess they "missed" my house. Sure would have been nice if a neighbor warned me. I was actually thinking of just driving over it, but then I worried it might leave tracks in my driveway when I come back, so I stayed put for the day.
