To anyone that has a BOA cc,what does boa goes by payment history wise as far with giving out cli's without asking for it?Do they count the paying above minimum due amount based on 2.2% of outstanding balance,or do they count it by monthly interest payment plus 10.00 as their so called minimum due amount? The reason why i am asking is because it has been 13 months since boa has increased my cl last.I am trying to figure how to get my cl high as possible in a short amount of time ,that you all for answers reguarding this question on boa automatic cli.

I was told on the board that BofA doesn't do automatic increases (most of the time). You can get an increase though by calling and asking. The first one 9 months after opening the account, then every 6 months.

    Hope that helps.

I got an automatic increase notice in mail one day, out of the blue. But then again, my scores at that time were sky high. Since they went down, no goodies.

I called to customer service every year to increase credit limit without pulling any credit report. First two times they increased by $3000 and this year they increased by $2000.
