Where is the best place to get credit reports from TransUnion and Experian on-line quickly? I've requested them via mail (as unemployed and looking I'm entitled to them for free), but I haven't received a response yet. I'm willing to pay a bit to ensure that I get results in time to dispute this holiday season. Thanks!
Thank you. Unfortunately, I've tried both of these sites and, after I've submitted the entire information, I'm told that they cannot process my request on line and I have to go through snail mail. Equifax worked, but the others did not. Does anyone know why? Any alternative course of action? Thanks!
Credit Expert should work to get you your report online because it is for profit...the free trial ends after 30 days and they collect 80 bucks (make sure you cancel within the 30 days if you want it for free). Does Credit Expert give you and support information like 800 number to call if you get denied your report? Search around the site for help. As for TU, try www.worthknowing.com but if you can not get it there, you will have to wait for the snail mail copy...I did. At least you get your score that way By the way worthknowing is wothe nothing...the score is meaningless and the information is suspect for errors but it will give you your TU report online. Good luck. -Peace, Dave
The best I could find on Credit Expert's site was to click that "ASK the EXPERT" section on the right hand side, and ask them why you are denied your report? I imagine it is verification reasons so......I would also ask, "what can you do to verify that you are you and get it online?" -Peace, Dave
