This post is intended for all collectors who tell people that a paid collection is better than an unpaid collection and that it will help your report.

My simple analysis is that a paid collection is the same as an unpaid collection. Why? Because it is a collection, so instead of undating it to paid. Just delete it, that would be helpful to us and would truly be a help to our reports.

This tradeline has a negative red arrow on equifax. We all know what that means.

By the way, I have resquested validation on this collection and they actually noted it. WOW

Also how can your current status be past due amount if it is a "PAID COLLECTION"

Get it right or get rid of it.
