Hello all, Is there a letter that uses on CRA vs another? If one removes an item and another one does not, has anyone used that against the one that did not remove the item? Thanks for the help!!
according to the FTC the creditor is obigated to contact the other CRA's if they have changes to your info..I would suppose that means deleting as well. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/credit/fcra.htm read the part that is titled Q. What can I do about inaccurate or incomplete information?
According to the FTC: "After the information provider receives notice of a dispute from the CRA, it must investigate, review all relevant information provided by the CRA, and report the results to the CRA. If the information provider finds the disputed information to be inaccurate, it must notify all nationwide CRAs so that they can correct this information in your file."

Ok sorry I'm not trying to take over your post but I want to know how I go about making sure the others take it off my report. On Experian I had an NCO financial taken off for not being able to verify yet Equifax says verified. Disputed online same day BTW. Also Equifax deleted 4 from same collection agency and Experian says validated. What do I do to have them fix on all reports?
