Well chalk another up to the "Goodwill" letters. I sent one to Jefferson Capital asking for a delete on a paid collection, and they replied with a letter stating they would delete the account from all three CRAs! This was my first attempt at any kind of repair,just afraid of "waking the sleeping giant" that I've read about on here. Ive got one more paid collection I'll attemp and see how it works. Thanks for all the info this site provides
They should since you paid them a hell of a lot more than what they paid which was nothing more than a few cents on each dollar . . .
