I had a really strange thing going on right now and I was looking for advice.

In 1999 I filed for Chapter 7. I reaffirmed with Ford motor credit and kept my car. For one I liked FMCC and my car both. So we reaffirmed I made all the payments on the lease and than at the end of the lease they said I had to turn the truck in and than they slammed me with voluntary repo! I was going to pay the truck off, it was a 1999 Super Duty XLT Diesel, nice truck. At the end of the lease I was to have a residual (correct term?) of 23,000 and some change. In 2001 the truck was still worth 28,000 dollar with only 15,600 miles on it. They said I could not keep it, I could not sell it nor could I place an option to purchase.

Now I disputed the voluntary repo and they placed it under Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. What gives with that?? First it was a repo now they say it was a bankruptcy. I hate that because out of all the auto financing I always thought ford was one of the best you could work with. Now I will never get credit again with them I assume. Mostly I feel a little pissed and screwed and I want it removed but know idea what to do now after the dispute.

Make any sense? I am confused for sure.
